Bishop François Gourguillon, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Reims, France, has died. He was 79 years old and had served as a priest for almost 52 years and served as a bishop for 15 years. May he rest in peace.

Hwang Cheol-soo named Pusan Bishop

Bishop Paul Hwang Cheol-soo was named Bishop of Pusan, Korea (South). The Diocese had been vacant since the death of Bishop Augustine Cheong Myong-jo in June 2007. Bishop Hwang Cheol-soo had been serving as an Auxiliary Bishop of the same diocese.
