Tiruvalla (Malankarese), India. The archdiocese had been vacant since
then-Archbishop Isaac Cleemis Thottunkal was named Major Archbishop of
Trivandrum (Malankarese) in February 2007. Archbishop-designate Chakkalapadickal had been serving as Bishop of
Muvattupuzha (Malankarese).
