Saraiva Martins retired, Amato named Causes of Saints Prefect

José Cardinal Saraiva Martins, C.M.F. retired and Archbishop Angelo Amato, S.D.B. was named Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.

Archbishop Amato had been serving as Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
