Byrne named Guiratinga Bishop

Bishop-elect Derek John Christopher Byrne, S.P.S. was named Bishop of Guiratinga, Mato Grosso, Brazil.

The diocese had been vacant since the death of Bishop Sebastião Assis de Figueiredo, O.F.M. in December 2007.
