Bishop-elect Vicente Carlos Kiaziku, O.F.M. Cap. was named Bishop of Mbanza Congo, Angola.

The diocese had been vacant since the resignation of Bishop Serafim Shyngo-Ya-Hombo, O.F.M. Cap. in July 2008.
