Bishop Joseph Bolangi Egwanga Ediba Tasame resigned and Bishop Philibert Tembo Nlandu, C.I.C.M. succeeded as Bishop of Budjala, Congo (Dem. Rep.).

Bishop Tembo Nlandu had been serving as Coadjutor Bishop of the same diocese.
