Bishop Gabriel Kembo Mamputu retired and Bishop Daniel Nlandu Mayi succeeded as Bishop of Matadi, Congo (Dem. Rep.).

Bishop Nlandu Mayi had been serving as Coadjutor Bishop of the same diocese.
