Bishop Pierre Trân Ðinh Tu retired and Joseph Nguyen Tan Tuoc succeeded as Bishop of Phú Cuong, Viêt Nam.

Bishop Nguyen Tan Tuoc had been serving as Coadjutor Bishop of the same diocese.
