Archbishop-elect Mirosław Adamczyk was named Apostolic Nuncio to Liberia and titular archbishop of Otriculum.
The post had been vacant since Archbishop George Antonysamy was named Archbishop of Madras and Mylapore (Meliapor), India in November 2012.
