Bishop-elect Ibrahim Salameh, S.M.S.P. was named Apostolic Exarch of Argentina (Melkite Greek) and titular bishop of Palmyra dei Greco-Melkiti.
The exarchate had been vacant since then-Bishop Jean-Abdo Arbach, B.C. was confirmed as Archbishop of Homs (-Hama-Jabrud) (Melkite Greek) in June 2012.
