Vayalunkal named Papua New Guinea Nuncio

Archbishop-elect Kurian Mathew Vayalunkal was named Apostolic Nuncio to Papua New Guinea and titular archbishop of Ratiaria.

The post had been vacant since Archbishop Michael Wallace Banach was named Apostolic Nuncio to Sénégal in March 2016.
