Cottanceau named Papeete Archbishop

Archbishop-elect Jean-Pierre Cottanceau, SS.CC. was named Archbishop of Papeete, French Polynesia, Pacific (Oceania).

The archdiocese had been vacant since Archbishop Hubert Coppenrath retired in March 2011.
