Bishop John Joseph Jenik retired and Bishop-elect Edmund J. Whalen and Bishop-elect Gerardo J. Colacicco were named Auxiliary Bishops of New York, New York, USA and titular bishops of Cemerinianus and Erdonia, respectively.
