Vinko Cardinal Puljić retired and Archbishop Tomo Vukšić succeeded as Archbishop of Vrhbosna {Sarajevo}, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Archbishop Vukšić had been serving as Coadjutor Archbishop of the same archdiocese.
