Bishop Giorgio Bertin, O.F.M. retired and Bishop Jamal Boulos Sleiman Daibes was named Bishop of Djibouti.

Bishop Daibes had been serving as Auxiliary Bishop of Jerusalem {Gerusalemme}, Palestine.
