Bishop-elect Ivan Tilak Jayasundera was named Bishop of
Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. The diocese has been vacant since
Bishop Harold Anthony Perera was named Bishop of
Galle in February, 2005. Bishop-elect Jayasundera had been serving as a priest of the archdiocese of
Kandy.
