Bishop Joseph Yapo Aké was named Bishop of Yamoussoukro, Côte d'Ivoire. The diocese had been vacant since January when then-Bishop Paul-Siméon Ahouanan Djro, O.F.M. was named Coadjutor Archbishop of Bouaké.Bishop Aké had been serving as an Auxiliary Bishop of Abidjan.
