Cardinal Sterzinsky Died

Georg Maximilian Cardinal Sterzinsky, Archbishop Emeritus of Berlin, Germany, has died.

He was 75 years old and had served as a bishop for 21 years.

Yesterday was the 51st anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood.

The day before was the 20 anniversary of his elevation to a cardinal.

May he rest in peace.
