De Andrea retired, El-Hachem named Nuncio to Kuwait, to Bahrain, to Yemen, and to Qatar
Archbishop Giuseppe De Andrea retired and Archbishop-designate Paul-Mounged El-Hachem was named Nuncio to Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, and Qatar as well as titular archbishop of Darnis. Archbishop De Andrea had been serving as a nuncio for 4 years. Archbishop-designate El-Hachem had been serving as Bishop of Baalbek-Deir El-Ahmar (Maronite) since 1995.
