Bishop Sergio Goretti retired and Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino was named Bishop of Assisi-Nocera Umbra-Gualdo Tadino, Italy. Bishop Goretti had been serving as bishop for 25 years and as a priest for 52 years. Archbishop Sorrentino had been serving as the Secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. He retains the title Archbishop as a personal title.
