Adams named Philippines Nuncio
Archbishop Edward Joseph Adams was named Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines. The post had been vacant since Archbishop Fernando Filoni was named Substitute (Sostituto) of the Secretariat of State in June 2007. Archbishop Adams had been serving as Apostolic Nuncio to Zimbabwe.
