José Tomás Cardinal Sánchez, Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for the Clergy and Archbishop Emeritus of Nueva Segovia, Philippines, has died.
He would have turned 92 next week. He served as a priest for 65 years, as a bishop for 43 years, and as a cardinal for 20 years.
May he rest in peace.
