Bishop Augustinus Kim Jong Soo was named Bishop of Daejeon {Taejon}, Korea (South).
The diocese had been vacant since then-Bishop Lazzaro You Heung-sik was named Prefect of the Congregation for the Clergy in June 2021.
Bishop Kim Jong Soo had been serving as Auxiliary Bishop of the same diocese.
