Archbishop-designate Jacques Assanvo Ahiwa was named Archbishop of Bouaké, Côte d’Ivoire.
The archdiocese had been vacant since the death of Archbishop Paul-Siméon Ahouanan Djro, O.F.M. in February 2024.
Archbishop-designate Ahiwa had been serving as Auxiliary Bishop of the same Archdiocese.
