Bishop Antony Prince Panengaden was confrimed as Bishop of Shamshabad (Syro-Malabar), India.
The eparchy had been vacant since then-Bishop Raphael Thattil was elected Major Archbishop of Ernakulam-Angamaly in January 2024.
Bishop Panengaden had been serving as Bishop of Adilabad.
