Machado named Uberlândia Bishop
Bishop Paulo Francisco Machado was named Bishop of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Diocese had been vacant since then-Bishop José Alberto Moura, C.S.S. was named Archbishop of Montes Claros in February 2007. Bishop Machado had been serving as an Auxiliary Bishop of Juiz de Fora.
