Micallef retired, Ballin named Kuwait Vicar
Bishop Francis George Adeodatus Micallef, O.C.D. retired and Bishop-elect Camillo Ballin, M.C.C.I. was named Vicar Apostolic of Kuwait and titular bishop of Arna. Bishop Micallef had been serving as vicar apostolic for 23 years.
