Scandiffio retired, Ricchiuti named Acerenza Archbishop
Archbishop Michele Scandiffio retired and Archbishop-elect Giovanni Ricchiuti was named Archbishop of Acerenza, Italy. Archbishop Scandiffio had been serving as archbishop for 17 years. Archbishop-elect Ricchiuti had been serving as a priest of Trani-Barletta-Bisceglie (-Nazareth).
