The Diocese of Prosperidad, Philippines was erected with territory taken from Butuan and becomes a suffragan of Cagayan de Oro.

Bishop Ruben Caballero Labajo was named its first bishop. He had been serving as Auxiliary Bishop of Cebu.

Sánchez Carrión named Honduras Nuncio

Archbishop-elect Simón Bolívar Sánchez Carrión was named Apostolic Nuncio to Honduras and titular archbishop of Rosella.

The post had been vacant since Archbishop Gábor Pintér was named Apostolic Nuncio to New Zealand in July 2024.

Norton named Broome Bishop

Bishop Timothy John Norton, S.V.D. was named Bishop of Broome, Australia.

The diocese had been vacant since the resignation of Bishop Christopher Alan Saunders in August 2021.

Bishop Norton had been serving as Auxiliary Bishop of Brisbane.

Wielikosielec retired as Pinsk Auxiliary

Bishop Kazimierz Wielikosielec, O.P. retired as Auxiliary Bishop of Pinsk, Belarus.

Cortés Soriano retired, Gómez García named Sant Feliu de Llobregat Bishop

Bishop Agustín Cortés Soriano retired and Bishop-elect Xabier Gómez García, O.P. was named Bishop of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Spain.

Fernandes Barreto resigned as Sindhudurg Bishop

Bishop Anthony Alwyn Fernandes Barreto resigned as Bishop of Sindhudurg, India.

Medo named Gospić-Senj Bishop

Bishop-elect Marko Medo was named Bishop of Gospić-Senj, Croatia.

The diocese had been vacant since then-Bishop Zdenko Križić, O.C.D. was named Archbishop of Split-Makarska in September 2023.
