Bishop Búa Otero Died (Emeritus of Calahorra y La Calzada-Logroño)

Bishop Ramón Búa Otero, Bishop Emeritus of Calahorra y La Calzada-Logroño, Spain, has died.

He died a week before celebrating his 79th birthday. He had served as a priest for 51 years and as a bishop for 30 years.

Bishop José Cerviño Cerviño, Bishop Emeritus of Tui-Vigo, Spain, has died.

He was 91 years old and has served as a bishop for 43 years. He died less than 2 weeks after celebrating 66 years as a priest.

He was 86 years old and had served as a priest for 63 years. He died one week before the 21st anniversary of his consecration as a bishop.

Bishop Vicente Ramón Hernández Peña retired and Bishop Cástor Oswaldo Azuaje Pérez, O.C.D. was named Bishop of Trujillo, Venezuela.

Bishop Azuaje Pérez had been serving as Auxiliary Bishop of Maracaibo.

Bishop Krevey Died (Emeritus of São João Batista em Curitiba (Ukrainian))
