Luis Cardinal Aponte Martínez, Archbishop Emeritus of San Juan de Puerto Rico, has died.
He was 89 years old. It was the 62nd anniversary of his priestly ordination. He also served as a bishop for 51 years and as a cardinal for 39 years.
May he rest in peace.
