Archbishop Józwowicz had been serving as Apostolic Nuncio to Rwanda.

The post had been vacant since the death of Archbishop Joseph Chennoth in September 2020.

The Archdiocese of of Ispahan has been renamed to the Archdiocese of Teheran-Ispahan, Iran.

Archbishop-elect Dominique Mathieu, O.F.M. Conv. was named its first Archbishop.

The jurisdiction had been vacant since the retirement of Archbishop Ignazio Bedini, S.D.B. in January 2015.

Davidian named Ispahan Bishop

The eparchy had been vacant since Bishop Nechan Karakéhéyan, I.C.P.B. was named Ordinary of Eastern Europe {Europa Orientale} (Armenian)) in April 2005.
