The Archdiocese of of Ispahan has been renamed to the Archdiocese of Teheran-Ispahan, Iran.
Archbishop-elect Dominique Mathieu, O.F.M. Conv. was named its first Archbishop.
The jurisdiction had been vacant since the retirement of Archbishop Ignazio Bedini, S.D.B. in January 2015.
