Monsengwo Pasinya named Kinshasa Archbishop
Archbishop Laurent Monsengwo Pasinya was named Archbishop of Kinshasa, Congo (Dem. Rep.). The archdiocese had been vacant since the death of Archbishop Frédéric Etsou-Nzabi-Bamungwabi, C.I.C.M. in January 2007. Archbishop Monsengwo Pasinya had been serving as Archbishop of Kisangani.
