Bishop Marcelo Julián Margni was named Bishop of Avellaneda-Lanús, Argentina.
The diocese had been vacant since the resignation of Bishop Rubén Oscar Frassia in August 2020.
Bishop Margni had been serving as Auxiliary Bishop of Quilmes.
