Bishop Jean Pascal Andriantsoavina was named Bishop of Antsirabé, Madagascar.
The diocese had been vacant since the death of Bishop Philippe Ranaivomanana in September 2022.
Bishop Andriantsoavina has been serving as Auxiliary Bishop of Antananarivo.
